While I was  looking for a place to save myself from a blizzard. I stepped inside a doner kabap. Wondering what would I order except for a salad . I decided to try Falafel in pita bread. Two golden brown falafel were nestled inside a pocket bread along with an array of colourful veggies. My first  taste of falafel  had sent a flush of  warmth as  I was soaked till my bone .Sitting inside a doner  kebab while watching a blizzard  with minus 5 degrees  temperature outside. Falafel tasted like food from manna accompanied by a steaming cup of coffee I knew I was set till the blizzard lasted.

Chickpeas minced- 2 cups

Parsley/Coriander leaves- 4 tbsp

G.chilli– 1 tbsp or to taste

Onion-1 medium sized

Dhania pwd

Jeera pwd

Garlic minced 2 tbsp

Soak chick peas overnight  strain and mince them in a food processor( Make sure there is no water in the peas) . Add the rest of the ingredient’s. Mix them together. Wet your hands a little and make small balls of the mixture. Flatten them a bit and fry them . They are very delicate so don’t touch them immediately after frying. Serve with hummus.

Tip:  If you think that the mixture is a little soft them you can add a bread to it or 2 tbsp gram flour / besan.

You can even put Red chilli to make it spicier.
