Shammi kebab

Soya chura 1 cup
Chana dal ½ cup
Soak & squeeze bread 1 cup
Onion 1
Green chilli 1
Coriander leaves 1tsp
Juice of 1 lemon
Salt & R.chilli to taste
Dhania powder 1 tsp
Garam masala ½ tsp
A powerhouse of protein for vegetarian’s soya should be incorporated in meals as much as possible. Boil soya chura in salted water for few minutes cool & squeeze the water . Soak the chana dal for ½ hr cook till soft and squeeze out water. The dal should not have dissolved in water rather it should have retained its shape .Finally chop onion and g.chilli mix together everything make kebab balls and fry.

Note
The soya chura, bread crumbs & the chana should be completely devoid of any water otherwise the balls will be soggy and break. Don’t ask me how many times my kebabs broke the minute I put them to fry ;P so finally I started to put the soya granules on an absorbent paper which helped me greatly.
If the mixture becomes soggy then add corn flour accordingly.
