CLUB SANDWICHES

1st step
White sauce
Butter 2tsp
Maida/ White flour 2 tsp
Milk 1 ½ cup
Salt & pepper to taste
Grated cheese 2 tsp
Method
Put butter in a pan and put on slow flame when the butter melts put maida and take it off the flame (Don’t let the butter to melt completely ) and let the  butter absorb the white flour. Put it back on flame then slowly keep stirring in the milk.Don’t get alarmed if lumps are formed as we can sieve the sauce before it thickens. When the sauce thickens we can be sure that the white flour has left it raw smell taste. Put in the salt & herbs ( if any ) Take it of the flame & put in the grated cheese. Let it cool.
Note- The sandwich tastes best when they are a bit cold so that the dressing is set.

2 Step

Bread slices
Grated cabbage ¼ cup
Grated carrot 2 tbsp
Mustard powder ¼ tsp
Chilli sauce 1 tsp
Tomato sauce 1 tsp
Cut the crust of the bread slices mix rest of things in white sauce make sandwiches and keep in the fridge for ½ hr before serving.

You can keep this dressing in fridge for 3-4 days.

So next time you step out of the house with kids or you have a small gathering at your place . Dish out these delicious sandwiches and see the expression of your loved ones when they bite into them. Best part is you can always prepare it well in advance & keep in the fridge.
